One of my favorite verses this past year or so has been Ps 27:14...

"Wait for the LORD;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the LORD."

This is how we should handle every situation. 1st...wait for the Lord...this means seek Him, trust Him enough to wait..this does NOT give us permission to be idle however. We are to be still & wait, but that requires action (the seeking) while being idle does not. After we seek God? 2nd...be strong (in Him) & take heart (this has to do with trust again!). When we take heart in Him our response should be to be bold in whatever it is He leads us to! God doesn't want us to move ahead of Him, but He certainly doesn't want us to be left behind either...so after we seek we need to move forward in confidence! 3rd..we wait on God again! Yep...after we seek Him and move, He follows it up again with the command to wait...to trust! After you have stepped out in obedience God reminds us that trust is still required through the ENTIRE process..not just in the intial step of faith. Circumstances may not seem to be coming together we had expected it to, but we cannot be moved by what we see...it takes trust in every step.

So in everything...wait on God...be strong & take heart...then wait on Him again!
